From layoffs to hiring in three months.
Dream Big Contracting remodels kitchens, baths and basements around Dayton and Beavercreek. When we started with them in January 2025, they were laying people off. Three months of Google Ads and local SEO later, they were hiring again.
Since then we've run their ads, their Google profile and their website, and built the software the office runs on.

Where they started
Dream Big had good work to show and not enough homeowners asking for it. When we started in January 2025, the schedule was thin enough that they were letting people go.
Remodeling is a big, slow decision. Homeowners search for weeks and compare a few contractors before they call anyone. The plan was to put Dream Big in front of them every time they searched, and to make asking for an estimate easy.
What we did
Google Ads split by room
Separate campaigns for bathroom and kitchen remodels plus one for local searches, so the budget follows the jobs they want most. We've managed more than $40,000 in ad spend for them since January 2025.
Raised the budget once the numbers held
In August 2026 the ad budget went from about $2,000 a month to about $3,500 a month. Leads went up with it, and the cost per lead stayed about the same: $37 last winter, $39 this fall.
Kept the Google profile on top in Beavercreek
Reviews, photos and services, kept current. In the August 2026 map scan they averaged 1.3 for kitchen remodeling, 1.3 for basements and 1.4 for bathrooms across Beavercreek, with 101 reviews and a 5.0 rating.
Built the website around one job
We built dreambigcontractingllc.com to get homeowners to ask for an estimate. The form has brought in 636 requests since June 2025.
Built the software the shop runs on
A board that pulls jobs from Housecall Pro and shows who's where on a TV in the shop, with a green, yellow or red light on any job that hasn't moved in 9 or 14 days. It also keeps a list of past quotes worth a second call.
What happened
They were hiring again by spring 2025, and they've added four trucks to the fleet since. Jobs closed from the website and ads we run now top $2 million.
The latest month of ads, from Google's own numbers:
| Spent that month | $3,518 |
| Leads | 90 |
| Cost per lead | $39 |
| Bathroom remodel leads | 55 |
| Kitchen remodel leads | 17 |
| Local search leads | 12 |

What counts as a lead
Leads here are Google's conversion counts: estimate forms and calls that came from an ad. Not every lead becomes an estimate. The past-quote list is there so the ones that didn't still get a second call.
